CSC Research Published

October 14, 2026

CSC is proud to announce the publication of its latest research in the European Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery & Traumatology, thanks to a former Orthopaedic Fellow, Dr. Kate Atkinson. The study highlights CSC’s successful use of Stimulan, an antibiotic-loaded material, to help treat complex bone infections and fractures that have failed to heal. In Cambodia, road traffic accidents frequently result in serious fractures, and limited access to specialized surgical care can lead to chronic bone infections, poor healing, and long-term disability. Many patients arrive at CSC months or even years after their initial injury.

The findings demonstrate promising results and reflect CSC’s commitment to advancing surgical care and improving patient outcomes in Cambodia. If you are interested in learning more, you can read the paper here:  https://rdcu.be/iSQREB8ZSp7a.
