From Textbook to Bedside

Local and international medical students in their final year of medical school completing elective training at CSC can immerse themselves in a dynamic and impactful learning environment.  Students gain hands-on experience working alongside dedicated surgeons and healthcare professionals, learning innovative techniques while addressing complex cases often rooted in resource-limited settings. Beyond clinical skills, they get a deeper understanding of global health challenges, enriching their experience professionally.

This is what one medical student said: "This experience has provided valuable insight into the unique medical, surgical, and sociocultural challenges faced by the Cambodian population. We are truly impressed by the dedication and passion of the staff in caring for underprivileged Cambodians, regardless of how difficult and complex the cases may be."

By financially supporting CSC, you help ensure that future generations of healthcare professionals receive hands-on training in a setting that fosters innovation, compassion, and cultural exchange. Your support not only strengthens the skills of these trainees but also enhances the quality of care provided to countless patients in need. Please take the opportunity to make a difference.
