International Children’s Day

June 1, 2025

International Children’s Day (June 1) reminds us of the vital importance of protecting and promoting the rights of children everywhere. It is also a celebration of their potential to shape a brighter future—and a call to ensure they grow up in safe and healthy environments. At Children’s Surgical Centre, every day is Children’s Day. From our humble beginnings as a small project to care for landmine survivors—many of them children—we have grown into a national referral hospital providing free, life-changing rehabilitative surgery for children and adults across Cambodia.

Since 2017, more than 3,800 Cambodian children aged 16 and under have received surgery at CSC, representing over 30% of our total patient population. We remain committed to giving every child the opportunity to heal, thrive, and dream of a better tomorrow. You can support our mission to offer free surgery to children by donating on our website. It's easy! Just click www.csc.org.
