OUR

SERVICES

The Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC) provides reconstructive surgery to children and adults in Phnom Penh and specialist training for young Cambodian surgeons. CSC started out in 1998 revising amputation stumps, repairing clefts and removing cataracts and over the last 20 years the scope of surgery for congenital and acquired disability has expanded dramatically. The scope of orthopaedic surgery includes limb reconstruction, complex congenital spinal cases, brachial plexus repairs, and surgery for a variety of congenital paediatric conditions. ENT focuses primarily on Otology and Audiology, and Ophthamology on cataract, retina and paediatric surgery. New techniques are introduced with visiting specialist teams from within the region and beyond. Current academic partnerships include Oxford University, University of Bristol, University of Toulouse, Hong Kong University and University of Malaysia.

We offer free or low-cost surgery to all disabled Cambodians. Due to loss of donors during the COVID pandemic, we may ask patients if they can give a small donation toward their care. If the patients cannot pay, we still give them care, just as before.
