World Disability Day 03 Dec

People with disabilities are among the most vulnerable groups in Cambodian society. They lack equal access to education, training, and employment. This constant lack of opportunity alienates them from fully participating in their communities.  It is estimated that people with disabilities represent 2% to 9.5% of the total population.  People with disabilities can improve their living conditions and participate more actively in society through productive and decent work.

Here at CSC, our mission includes providing access to surgery and rehabilitation for poor Cambodians with disabilities; this includes orthopedic trauma, land mine injuries, burns, hearing loss, recurrent infections, and visual impairment amenable to surgery.

Correcting these disabilities can significantly improve quality of life, education, socioeconomic opportunity, and well-being. Please consider a donation today – Your donation to CSC is the key that unlocks access to high-quality surgical care for our Cambodian patients. When you donate, we promise that 100% of your contribution goes directly towards our clinical activities. Join our online DONOR PORTAL. You'll be glad you did.
