The Vital Role of Post-Operative Rehabilitation at CSC

At Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), surgery is only the first step toward restoring mobility, independence, and dignity for our patients. Post-operative rehabilitation plays an essential role in every patient’s recovery—helping them regain strength and return to daily life. After procedures such as delicate hand surgery for children, fracture repair, burn reconstruction, or nerve and tendon release, patients often face stiffness, pain, or limited mobility. CSC’s dedicated physiotherapy team works closely with surgeons to provide individualized care, ensuring each patient heals and regains the function they need. Rehabilitation can mean guiding a child through exercises to improve dexterity or helping a farmer rebuild hand strength after trauma. These steps may seem small, but together they transform lives.

Surgery changes lives; rehabilitation helps sustain those changes.
And at CSC, both are made possible through the generosity of partners and supporters who believe in long-lasting, holistic healing for all Cambodians.
