CSC Surgeons, Stronger Together

April 1, 2026

Each year, a team of hand surgeons from Singapore visits CSC, working alongside our CSC Khmer staff to help patients with complex hand conditions. CSC surgeons continue to strengthen their advanced expertise to bring life-changing care within reach for those who need it most. Many Cambodians live with the effects of untreated injuries, including nerve damage from traffic accidents that leave them unable to move their hands. Others are born with conditions such as extra fingers or deformities that make simple actions—like holding a cup or writing—difficult. For many, care had long been out of reach due to cost or lack of specialized services. This work is made possible by the dedication of CSC’s medical team, supported by the right equipment and generous donors. At CSC, no patient is turned away due to an inability to pay.

As one family shared simply: “Thank you for giving my son the chance to use his hand again.”
