Thank You Rotary Club!

Yesterday, the Rotary Club of Phnom Penh gave CSC a check for USD $10,748 to support the care of Cambodian children with burns who need surgery and rehabilitation. Sadly, burn injuries are common in Cambodia in children under the age of 12, and their associated disabilities are tragic.  Outcomes of these burn injuries often result in chronic deformities, contractures, and disfigurement in children. Burns scarring often leads to contractures, disfigurement, and disability, requiring skilled surgery to treat the pathology. Phoenix Kids is all about rebuilding the lives of children who have been disabled as a result of serious burn injuries. With the right treatment from the Children’s Surgical Centre their lives can be transformed and their quality of life immeasurably improved. CSC and the Rotary Club have embarked on a successful partnership to assist in the care of Cambodian children desperately needing surgery.
