Professor Fred Lauwers and his maxillofacial team from the University of Toulouse, France will conduct consultations and surgeries at CSC from November 5th to November 18th this year. Maxillofacial surgeons are advanced specialists involved in operations to correct diseases, injuries, and defects of the face, jaw, or mouth. Dr. Fred and his team have been taking on complex reconstructive surgery operations for Khmers with our local Khmer surgical team for over 20 years.

Ellen, a registered nurse, and her husband Brian, an anesthesiologist, have been active volunteers at CSC since 2008. Ellen has undergraduate degrees in both Nursing and Spanish Literature, and a graduate degree in Health Management. Since 2020, Ellen has volunteered in the role of Stakeholder Relations, connecting with our generous supporters, interacting with visiting surgeons and students, and disseminating updates on Children's Surgical Centre.
